Tim is a prompt and honest contractor and worker. He saved us hundreds of dollars by recognizing a different solution to a plumbing issue that other contractors had not identified. Tim was able to help us with other odd jobs around the house. He always takes the time to discuss plans before any action is taken. We recommend him and are hiring him for another job.
Tim is reasonably price, fair, does quality work, shows up when he says he will and if something interferes with the schedule at least calls to let you know he has to reschedule. I have used Tim on three (3) different projects over the past few years, and have always been satisfied. He is a good guy.
We contracted Tim for tile work in our master bathroom. His work was top notch and prices are very reasonable. We were very pleased at how accommodating he was to our time schedule. We needed the work done on a tight schedule and he performed. Tim is very friendly and professional. We felt very comfortable having him in our home. We highly recommend him to anyway looking to build or remodel.
Tim Rutherford of Rutherford Construction completed a total bathroom remodel for me earlier this year. He took out an old concrete shower pan and shower surround, a dated bathroom cabinet, and patched dry wall. After demolition Tim poured a new shower pan, installed a clear glass shower door, laid a new tile floor, tile shower surround, and reinstalled the toilet as well as pedestal sink. The total job was completed on time and without error at what I considered a reasonable price. I have more projects coming up in the future and Tim will be my first choice without hesitation. I am planning on hardwood flooring in my living room along with a tile entry way to my home.
Wished to forward a positive referral for Tim Rutherford. Mr. Rutherford assisted my family with a full remodel of our Keystone Mountain condo and he did a wonderful job. We basically gutted the unit and Tim was instrumental in completing everything from the cabinets to tile work, appliance installation, trim, doors, and more. We enjoyed working with him and have been tremendously pleased with our brand new 2nd home! Mark B
Thanks for the great job, Tim. It looked good yesterday when I left the house. Won't go back in until tomorrow morning to meet the painter. Your check is in the mail as of today, so you should likely get it by Friday.
The Bloom Family
The Bloom family and Katrina's nasal passages thank you for doing an incredible job on the steam shower.
Great - thanks! Toshiya emailed me and said you did a great job. He is very pleased with everything - thank you!! I will have Andre go out there tomorrow and pick up the remaining materials.

Thanks, Tim. The tile looks really great, and the Koa filler is perfect. Thanks!
Thanks, Tim - it looks great.
Thanks Tim, another great job! See you soon.
7/2/2003 To Whom It may Concern; In April of this year we contracted with Tim Rutherford of Abana Stone and Tile to do an extensive remodel of our master bathroom in our 1956 home ... in Denver. We had received excellent references on Mr. Rutherford and were very pleased with the work he did on our project. He confronted several obstacles in working with old plumbing and addressing miscellaneous issues associated with the foundation settling of an older home. He persevered and completed our project very close to the estimated completion date. We close on the sale of this home next week, and have received comments that the bathroom is one of the nicest elements of the home. We would certainly use Mr. Rutherford's services in the future if the need arises as well as recommending him to friends and family.
Thanks again for the work you did for us -- I dropped your payment in the mail today. (FYI: Ed really likes the bathroom!) Ed has another project he'd like you to consider when you have the time. We're looking at converting our wine closet into a different set-up. I can't really explain it in an e-mail, so we'd like you to stop by sometime to let us know if it's something you can do. Let me know what works for you.
Tim Rutherford worked on a remodeling project on my house in the common bathroom and powder room in August, 2008. He was hired through a remodeling company that I used, and boy, I was lucky to have him work on our project. He kept us informed on what he was doing and was going to do in each step and even scheduled his work plan to accommodate my needs (I wanted to paint the walls before he installed toilets and pedestal sinks but after he was done with drywalls and tiles, of course). He always showed up when he said he would and kept his (and my) schedule as planned. There were some issues that had to do with the original construction of the house (plumbing and A/C duct layouts), which forced Tim to change his plans on the spot, but he always resolved these issues (and explained these to me what he did differently). Overall, I was very pleased to the outcome. Thanks, Tim, for the great job. When I come up with other project plans, I will definitely call on him again.
I am writing this e-mail as a referral letter for Tim Rutherford. Tim has done multiple jobs for us on both our primary and vacation homes. He has done everything from the simple (tearing out decks) to the complex (slate and tile work in small working places). His most impressive work was in demolishing a steam bath and putting in a cedar and slate wine cellar. Tim has always done excellent work in a timely and affordable fashion. Nearly all of his work is done by word of mouth, which is a credit to his customer loyalty. I personally have referred at least three people to Tim for various jobs. Indeed, I have recently asked Tim to perform yet another job on my house. Tim represents the best in all contractors - excellent service at a fair price. I would recommend him without reservation for any job he felt inclined to do. Sincerely, Chuck R, Denver
